DYU D3: the cruise mode is no longer deactivated by braking

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a DYU D3 and after covering the 10 miles I used the APP to unlock the bike from 20 km/h to 25 km/h.
Now the cruise mode is no longer deactivated by braking, which is very penalizing. Do you have a solution?

I locked and unlocked the bike and now it's working again!

I have this behaviour regularly and in fact only a long stop solves the problem. This behaviour can really be dangerous! I have not yet found what triggers the problem in use.

It might be the brake or app problem. I'll report it to the tech department on Monday for the solution to your bike.

Did you reset the app or clear the cache for the app? The tech says it's likely the problem of app crash. Firstly,  excluding the app problem and then we can find if there is something in other places. Its app is weak and there will be an update in the near future.

When I have the problem, the bike brakes but when I release the brakes it goes back on its own.
On the other hand, I've never had any problem deactivating the cruising mode by re-accelerating.
I was not using the application the last time this happened. I'd rather say it was a firmware problem. However, I will try to re-install the application soon to see.

Hi, pfx, can you press the cruise button to stop the cruise mode? If it stops, the problem lies in the cruise button, you only need to fix the cruise button.

When 2 brake bars both cannot stop the cruise mode, you need to replace the electricity-cut-down brake bars.

Waiting for your reply

With the DYU D3, it is by activating the accelerator for 5 seconds that I activate the cruise mode. I have no problem deactivating it by reactivating the accelerator.
When the problem of brakes that do not disable the cruise mode appears, it is only with a long stop that the problem disappears.

According to your description, your brake lever is broken and needs a replacement.

You might need to order a brake lever for this, where did you bought the DYU D3 ebike? It's recommended to ask it from our reseller or buy from us directly.  And I'm sending you a video on how to replace it soon. Now I'm uploading it

OK ruifeng jin, I'll check the connection of the brake handles and see if I can order new ones.

Thank you very much for the videos!
