New bikes have some speed restriction at first. Later its speed restriction will be lifted automatically.

i got my dyu vip 3 couple wks ago the app initially worked ok then 2 days ago i noticed the power assisted gears section had gone and also the speed that allowed me to do 30km after i travelled 10km now only goes up to 25km. Is this an App prob ? I understand the app had a recent update. Anyone help ?

My speed restriction dropped bak from 30km to 25km also power assisted gears disappeared off the app. Wondering if the app is the prob i believe it had an update on may 9th maybe the update has a bug ?

The same happens to my e-bike. There is no difference between the three modes (Eco. Mid, High in DYU D3) all 3 reach 25 km/h without speed limitation

Hi, it's not a bug but a regular update. The previous speed restriction is removed, not matter it shows 25km or 30km, the speed restriction doesn't exist anymore.

The old version app restricts the new bike speed at 10km/h at its first 10 miles, and now the new bike has no speed limitation anymore.

That's true. Speed over 25km is not legal in many areas in the world and it's not safe when riding over 25km at 30 km, so the DYU bike is designed from normal max speed at 25km and downslope max speed at 30km.

A new app will be updated to fix the max speed limiting problem soon.

Download old version DYU APP in 2018

Yes, I told you in my last post that there is no difference between the 3 modes in DYU D3. You reach 25 km/h in all cases, no matter the mode that is in on the display"

Dear Jose,

Our max speed is always 25KM/H for all modes, The 2 modes of D3 is the meaning as below

Dear Jose,

Our max speed is always 25KM/H for all modes, The 2 modes of D3 is the meaning as below: 1) Eco mode:when you cycle the pedal, cost more labour and less power; 2). middle mode: half labour and half power when pedaling; 3) high mode: more power and less labour when pedaling. Hope my informaiton will help you better understand our 3 modes

Hello will the old app be able to reach the 30kph speed? Here in the US in my state we are allowed to have ebike speed up to 20 miles per hour. Please let me know! As a side note I just ordered the D3 plus from you guys and I am so excited hopefully it will arrive soon!

Usually the bike runs 25km/h, higher speed needs a little customization

What is the customisation?

Customisation may reach higher speed and realize different performance according to the spare parts you use. However, it's not recommended to customize the bike.

I know you do not recomend it, but what are the chances of your controller running 48v

The controller is designed for 36V. Running on 48V will damage the bike motor or circuit in some degree. The chances of running 48v is unknown.
